wolfer113
howdy,i have an odd ball sterling i've never seen before...i have pics of it....it does not have a full shrouded barrel like the sterling..it was a removable barrel thats similar to a mk2 sten..it has a angle cut compensator cut on the barrel....mag housing is marked P.A.F "Abbreviation for Pretoria Arms Factory" and 9mm PARABELLUM ... ALSO has FAME CHILE on the mag housing which means "Fab. de Material de Guerra del Ejercito of Santiago" Thats all i know on that stuff....also the mags are same as sterling but they appear to be longer...i have pics of all of it..email me at ibewolfer@aol.com if you can help identify or tell me something about this thing or want to see the pictures....Thx

John C
You've got a Chilean PAF Machine Pistol built by the Chilean State Arsenal (FAMAE). PAF = Pistola Ametrelladora (machine pistol) FAMAE. There is not much info about it that I can find but I recall it is not as well built as an original Sterling. PArts interchangeability is chancy.
