lake ogemaw
Has anyone been able to find a scope mount that could be used on a BM59? `
bm59collector
I tried to get a original Beretta mount 25 years ago from Reese, no luck - but they are out there. What I did was search for a mount that did not require any drilling and wound up purchasing a S&K mount and their rings (1"). You have to remove the rear sight & knobs since it uses the 'wings' to attach to. You will not be able to use the stripper clip feature, but it does make a pretty decent set-up. What you see is it installed on my BM62. Before purchasing, I made sure I had full return privileges in case I ran into a problem - a lot of companies make promises and can't deliver. This worked out great, I had to use a soft mallet to tap the base in, but that was normal per S&K. Being a dealer I remember getting some type of discount but I don't remember what it was. I recommend that if you decide to go the route I did, give S&K a call and talk to them - the BM59 wasn't on their list, but they made a suggestion and it worked out fine - HTH http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i236/ffl...59/DSCN0906.jpg http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i236/ffl...59/DSCN0905.jpg http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i236/ffl...59/DSCN0904.jpg http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i236/ffl...59/DSCN0903.jpg Edited September 26, 2007 by bm59collector

gunner69skmc
This is an old post, but if you haven't gotten a scope mount yet here is the source. M14.ca has a excellen, over bore, mount they offer. It is their CASM GEN II a new generation mount for the BM-59. They are out of Canada but the service was reasonable and fast. They have great installation information provided for the mount installation. Hope this helps.
blfuller
Classic Arms also has a steel one made by Sadlak. I think it looks a little better than the M14.ca one. Edited August 22, 2018 by blfuller
