levallois
Went over Thanksgiving holiday and it was unbelievable! Without a doubt the finest military museum (or any museum) I've ever been to. Traces the Corps from the beginning to the present-day. Unbelievable displays, interactive displays, weapons, gear, battles, movies, audio, etc. etc. My brother-in-law and I got stuck in traffic on 95 and so only had an hour to look before closing - plan on 3-4 hours or more. I barely got through to WWII before it closed and I was hurrying. He rushed ahead and looked at Korea and Vietnam and said they looked just as good. Just opened November 13 in Quantico, VA - highly recommended. I'm going back just as soon as I can. John

giantpanda4
I went to a few museums a couple weeks ago on a 6 day trip around Lake MI. Found out (to my surprise!) that the best WWII stuff we saw was at the EAA museum in Oshkosh, they had a whole hanger set up. And it was done very well! In four museums we went to, saw no Thompsons. Asked about them, no reason why. All most had was Jap stuff. Still interesting, now I gotta go to Quantico!
