Tman
Tman, I think I have met you up at Derek's before. I think so. I need to go and see him about a Gemtech he ordered for my M16. BTW, when's the next shoot?
The Lone Ranger
This case made Lou Dobbs, supposed to be follow-up tonight.... http://www.cnn.com/video/?/video/bestoftv/...r.govt.guns.cnn (careful on video, if you don't exit quickly you will have to endure Schumer crying about a gov bailout of people who bought houses they can't afford). scotty
I didn't get to see the second part but I thought it was wonderful how supportive Dobbs was of Olofson, it was a little shocking to see that level of suport from a national news media. The Lone Ranger
That's what I thought! Here's Part II: http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/politics/...guns.part.2.cnn ATF and USA aren't talking - has been my experience that when a government agency does something good, they will scratch and claw for camera time. The Lone Ranger
Anyone have any information as to what assistance if any the NRA has provided to the is case? I am on the edge of my seat. Will definitely be watching the program next week hoping to see what shakes out. Was hard to believe the NRA would get involved, but then it did involve a semi-auto.... Shattered
Wish I could also buy a good used MIG-25, along with the money and crew to keep it running for awhile. Well, there are a few nice L-39's for sale in Cincinnati.
PhilOhio
Wish I could also buy a good used MIG-25, along with the money and crew to keep it running for awhile. Well, there are a few nice L-39's for sale in Cincinnati. Actually, as I think about it, I'd rather go for the MIG-29; dances around on its tail better, doing the cobra thing, and has a better IR targetting system for semi trailer trucks. The pain of all this is that as world market prices come crashing down and availability of all these neat toys opens up all over the world, we couldn't afford the jet fuel. Crap diesel sludge just hit $4/gallon in Ohio. I always sort of wanted a Cessna 310R, or maybe a Baron...or King Air with a couple of low time PT-6s. But what the hey? I've got a couple mopeds and a Thompson to mount on the handle bars, if it doesn't jiggle the filament out of the headlight bulb. These arabs certainly have modified my level of aspiration. Ah well, all that will be fixed after November...or January 2009...or ???????
