Wtb Bm59 Rifle

Hello newbie here to the forum i' m looking to purchase a early BM59 rifle,i would prefer 1 0f the 200 early guns with no import marks,could someone tell me what this perticular rifle is selling for these days,there is one on gunbroker but $7500.00 seems extreme,anybody have a N.I.B. BM62 they would like to sell,any others,have my fill of Garands & 14's and really like the BM rifle,please email with price and condition,thanks Terry

The rifle pictured has a totally 'humped' up folding stock. That is a Reese designed stock with a lower leg welded on, the only folding it will do is fold sideways - the Beretta bottom leg will fold up, then the butt plate will fold onto both legs of the stock, then fold sideways. FWIW

I tought that I was the only one that noticed that about the stock ! It has been on auction awhile as has the '69 . Looks like someone welded the lower brace in there .

Just saw your post and wondered if you had found your rifle yet. If not, I have a pristine BM62 SN. 20XX. This is not the re-weld, but the original from Italy. It has been fitted with the compensator with the bayonet lug. To my knowledge it has never been fired. I have the original packaging and three magazines. I am asking $3000 firm. I believe the last time I spoke with Terry, he mentioned that he had given up looking for a BM62 and was focasing more on the M1A platform.

There is a clean 62 on Gunbroker, but it has the tri comp instead of the faux '62 comp .
