Thanks MLV #1-- 750 rpm #2-- I don't know if there are any books specifically about the M2 carbine, but there are many good books on US carbines. My favorite quick reference book is US M1 carbines, Wartime Production by Craig Riesch. A copy of the US Army manual is a must also.-- Fm 23-7 and TM9-1276.
