Questions On M2s

Recommended Posts

First, can anyone tell me what the nominal rpm of the M2 Carbine is?

Second, since I have an M2 Carbine on the way can someone direct me to the best book(s) about them?

Thanks

MLV

#1-- 750 rpm

#2-- I don't know if there are any books specifically about the M2 carbine, but there are many good books on US carbines. My favorite quick reference book is US M1 carbines, Wartime Production by Craig Riesch. A copy of the US Army manual is a must also.-- Fm 23-7 and TM9-1276.

Mike,

There is a good history on the M2 Carbine in the back issues of Smallarmsreview.com magazines. Issue: Nov. 1997 & Dec. 1997.

Lots of info.

I am the author of that article series. Is there anything I can answer for you??
