Rayman1
Being a newer member to the board, I thought I'd contribute with a few photos (old as they are - from 2004). Plus, wanted to stir up the pot a little to get some blood going through the MG-34/MG-42 section. The photos were from a D-Day display I set-up for a local American Legion Hall in memory of the anniversary. I decided on using the Lafette tripod instead of an original AA tripod as I thought it made a better look. Especially with the sandbags. I apologize for the quality - they were taken with one of those old Sony Mavica floppy disk-style cameras that were popular "back in the day": http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q86/Blue_Falcon_One/MG-34/mema.jpg http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q86/Blue_Falcon_One/MG-34/memb.jpg http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q86/Blue_Falcon_One/MG-34/memg.jpg Although not MG-34-related, here's some other additional photos of a portion of the rest of the display: http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q86/Blue_Falcon_One/MG-34/memc.jpg http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q86/Blue_Falcon_One/MG-34/memf.jpg http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q86/Blue_Falcon_One/MG-34/meme.jpg http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q86/Blue_Falcon_One/MG-34/memh.jpg

Rayman1
I appreciate the kind words. The bad photos don't do it justice. I didn't get photos of the whole set-up that day but it was well-received. It was great to get some stories from the WWII/Korean War veterans that day. The next display is going to be quite a show.
