Does anyone know or have the dimensions for the cleat on the bayonet lug, that the M-1917 bayonet locks on to? Width and thickness? thanks! newtommygunner Posted July 9, 2011 Report Share Posted July 9, 2011 I measured a ww1, a ww2 and a repo.bayo lug on my winchester 97's. Length .584 in + or - .002 in. Width .384 in + or minus .001 in.
