Question: Savage Commercial Stock

I have what I believe is a savage commercial tsmg stock, or perhaps a colt? It has 4 digit numbers, all different, on the inside of the buttplate, on the stock under the buttplate, and underneath the slide assembly The wood stock is the early non crossbolt type, looks to have been varnished over the original finish With no marks on the wood visible to me. What do you think it is?

Have a good barrel, a complete trigger group, some bolts, an op rod, a used birch stock, as well as most other parts and need a semi auto receiver to build up an equivalent of a service grade rifle Not interested in a match grade or even a pretty one, but building something reminiscent of what I carried a long time ago. Let me know what you recommend and what you might have for sale.

This is a british home guard storage case for a 1921 or 1928 Thompson smg It has been painted and marked obviously by someone, but no idea what the added markings mean. There is a pretty good discussion about these on this forum
