  1. Not to Hijack this and I'm not Gordon but these are the stands I make if you have no luck on one of his...? (Doesn't have to have the lettering...) Jon
  2. I only do the Walnut to order. I do have maples... Maple is $108 Walnut is $155
  3. My plan for #100 is to find a super unique piece of wood (species undetermined) and do some other one of a kind work to it. It will be auctioned here with 10% of proceeds going to the boards. I won't even build it till the others are sold. Thanks, Jon
  4. Ok... Sold 2 hard maples and have been doing customs. If I sell the remaining 4 hard maples that puts me at 99 made /sold! 4 maple available! Help me get to 99! #100 is going to be something special!! Thanks guys! Jon

  6. Thanks Bob. I'm working on your Birdseye. It is grain matched on the top as well. Man I'd like to keep it... Hoping to be shipping it by Monday!
  7. 1 Loader sold 1 spoken for pending funds. 4 available.

  10. That's a bummer. Loaders like these are impossible to make for in and back style.
  11. Thanks. These have been really fun to do. I could maybe do one for a greasegun but it depends...? Do the feed straight in like Thompson's or are they an in and back to load type? If the are like Thompson's I would need a mag for dimensioning to make a loader. Jon
  12. Yes!! Actually posting some new ones this afternoon. I'll pm you the details. Jon
  13. It's been great doing the unique ones. I'm at 89 sold right now. Big plans for when I get to 100! I probably could do those if I had one to reverse engineer or good plans to follow...
  14. Thanks David. I couldn't have done it without your picture of the stenciling. I'll post some pictures sometime of what the Post Office did to it in delivery... The member is going to send it back to me after he returns from Knob Creek. Made me so sick to see it...🤢🤮
  15. Thank you! The trigger frame is the factory one from Kahr. You can find my post about all of the modifications here: http://www.machinegunboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=17720&hl=27a1
  16. TD thanks for the suggestions. I only did as the member asked. Right or wrong I always let the customer make the astetic decisions so they are happy or disappointed in their own decisions. 😎
  17. So I have been making loaders but just behind the scenes along with some other projects for some board members. I'm up to 89 loaders made and shipped out all over the country now. I thought I'd post these projects up here since they have been both unique and challenging. Not to mention some really cool custom loaders. These are the loaders. There is some great Hard Maple, Black Walnut, High Figure Maple and one of a kind Cocoabolo. Here is the Thompson stand I did. By the members request I did the Colt and Thompson Logos in their true fonts and labeled it with his model and serial numbers as well. The stand is made from Black Walnut with the burnt lettering and red velvet at the contact points. Unfortunately the gun in the pictures is my Kahr and not the real '21 that lives on it now... This is a chest for a M1918 30cal belt re-loader. For those of you not familiar this reloads the belts for the M1919 machine gun. A member sent me an original chest in beyond repair condition. I was able to salvage the original hardware and recreate the chest from new wood and matched oil paint colors. This was a blast to make and reverse engineer things from the past. As I write this though... I just got an email from the member I did this for and even with the what I though to be idiot proof packing job, the government proves again they can screw up even the most meaningless tasks, like delivering a box, and the U.S. post office managed to beat the hell out of this... Solution to follow...? I plan to start making a new set of loaders here soon. If anybody wants something other than Hard Maple let me know. Jon
  18. I'm a lifer here in Oregon and hate what it's becoming as well... Seems even the Lefty's piss and moan about how bad it is here now and keep "voting" in farther left (corrupt) polititians like good little lemmings...
  19. Mine is from 2011 and I put a green mt on it but I've seen threads pass by in here suggesting that the threads have indeed changed sometime in the past few years.
  20. You can see how I made my grip hanger removable without barrel removal here: http://www.machinegunboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=17720
  21. I don't know about IMA's quality either as I have a Green Mountain barrel. But... IMA's "may not be compatible" statement is probably due to sometime in the last 5+ years Kahr has changed the thread size or pitch on their newly produced barrels and receivers thus rendering any barrel made to original specs not compatible. I don't know where the cut off for that change is but my gun is a 2011 and is still original thread spec.
  22. When I stripped my commando furniture I ended up with a stock that had a bondo plug and a crap grade maple grip and forend. If you want good stuff save your pennies and find vintage good stuff. Jon
  23. You can still breathe easy. Trust me... Even though yours are mixed in with that picture they are night and day difference between the raw state pictured and completion. I will wait until you get them to post finished pictures. Jon
  24. Walnut taken pending funds. All gone! Thanks guys! Pics in a couple of days. Jon
