Dad was Kent Ohio Police Officer, later in his career he was detective.

I don't know enough about these Thompsons to say if his front grip is missing.

Picture was taken at night, wonder what brought them out to pose in that field that evening.

My Dad tells the story of a manhunt, some guy killed his wife if I remember the story correctly and the county sheriff was called to hunt him down.......and they did actually catch him!

Photo of my father (the guy with Thompson) early in his 37 year long LEO career.

I remember this gun from when I was very young and the Thompson stayed with him for much of the 37 years, when he retired I don't know what happened to the Thompson??
