At first I thought it was 8##,###; but when you zoom in, its a 3.

 

It did go to a police department in the 1960s

Im a new member who like many before me decided to take the Thompson plunge. My collecting and shooting has always been WW2 focused, so decided to sell so other things to save up for the big purchase. I have SBRs and suppressors, so the NFA process is only a slight mystery.

 

Below are some photos of my prospective. It maybe a member here, but I put a deposit and have a few days to inspect. From what I can tell the upper is an early M1 AOC and the lower is Savage. The GHD stamp is more forward by the magwell like a WB stamp on an early M1 I see in the book. Faint Springfield Ordnance wheel below the GHD. Can make out a GEG stamp.
