I have a mismatched C drum. It's in Gordons book but if this data base has separate information I would like to give him my drum information.

Jim & Arthur,
Thank you for the information.

Ron,
I've hardly had a chance to read the books, what with the demands put upon me by Tom and Arthur.
But, I do have a feeling that my book contains much of the info that the federal government required redacted from the final printing.

Jim C,
If this is a stupid question I apologize in advance.
You mention in this post that your books may contain info the government required redacted. If you do not mind, what kind of info are you refering to? I am not asking for any details info just general informaiton. i.e. were there names or gun specific documents that needed to be taken out?
Thank you,
Kevin

Does anyone recognize the guy on the right? He's a board member. Not sure about the other two.
I purchased two of my Thompsons from him.

I have corrected two forms in the past. One was a WH Thompson that had exactly your issue and the other was a C&R Sten which had the wrong manufacturer. I submitted the forms with the corrected information and noted the changes on my cover letter. Both went thru with out a problem.

I put half the springs in high end toward front and half toward the rear. I will see if it matters when I shoot next.

Does it matter if the high side of the mag spring faces the front or back of the mag?
I have @50 greasy mags I am about to clean and would like to put them back together correctly if it matters.
Thanks,
Kevin

How much front/back movement should there be when the mag is in the magwell.
Thanks,
Kevin

That is correct. You certify yourself. It does not make sense but it what they want.

Can someone tell me what manufacturer used the prefix FL before the serial number?
Thanks,
Kevin

Sad to hear about his passing. Merle serviced a number of drums for me. He was a pleasure to talk to.
