  3. Hello everybody! I would like to share a little information about the Reising SMG service in the Red Army during WWII. In total from 1941 to 1945 114,216 Reising SMG were produced. Of these, US MC received 66,500, most of the rest went to the US police and rear services. However, according to the Lend Lease 2000 pieces got to England, and 6000 pieces to the USSR. In the Red Army, this SMG did not take root and did not enjoy a good reputation. The conclusion of the commission testing the SMG in 1942: “...Reising is largely difficult to disassemble, and especially in production, since it requires precise manufacturing of parts and does not allow the use of stamping in the manufacture of individual parts. From this point of view, the SMG Reising is of no interest. ”

  6. I e-mailed Joe about these 30 round mags, still looking at 14-15 weeks, I asked to pre order 4, he assured me they will have plenty. I guess all things tied to NFA items require patience. Ugggghhh
  7. I have lost 2 firing pins. I replaced my original with one from http://www.keystonearms.com, a titanium Reising firing pin manufactured by Christies Products. The end broke off after about 200-300 rounds. Has anyone else had firing pin problems with their M 50's? It doesn't seem reasonable that a titanium pin would break off at all, much less than after 200 or so rounds. The pin was lubercated and was not jamming at all. The pin was also hitting the center of my bullet primers. I am at a loss here. A picture of the break is attached. Tom T.
  8. Hello: I am new to this blog. And I am in the holding pattern to get my Model 50. It is at my dealer, just waiting for the ATF approval. So, here is my question. Living in Michigan, although we are now, FA friendly, does not mean all afound me approve of FA fun. Therefore, I would like to know. Has anyone on this site attached, or has anyone investigated installation of a suppressor on their Reising?? I also have an American 180 and an Uzi in transfer, both with suppressors. But I have not seen any information for Reisings with suppressors. I think it should be straight forward. But, I have not seen anything about a Reising with a suppressor. If anyone has any information or can suggest an appropriate can, I would be very appreciative. Thanks for your help Bob
