I just tried out my two new Kahr L drums for the first time. Both were loaded with 50 rounds. I'm confident that both were loaded properly. One was wound to 9 clicks and the other to 11 clicks. Both stopped short of firing all 50 rounds. When the drums were removed from the weapon, no rounds were visible in the mouth of one drum; a round was sideways in the mouth of the other drum. As the result I couldn't push the unfired rounds out the mouth of the drums as the manual instructs. Unfired rounds remain in both drums and I need to get them out. I can think of only two things to do: 1) remove the drum covers and unload the drums; or 2) wind them further and try to continue firing. My quandry is that the manual says I should do neither. It says not to remove the drum covers in order to remove the unfired rounds, and it also says not to wind the drums after rounds have been fired. Maybe there's a different way to get the unfired rounds out of the drums, but I don't know how. I'd greatly appreciate advice what to do. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
