tomallen
I have a commercial Beretta BM69. I have on order a replacement recoil pad from Beretta USA. Removing the crumbling original pad the toe screw was a standard wood type and a wood dowel glassed in the stock. I was assuming the toe screw was like an M14/M1A that retained the sling swivel. Is this original or a back yard gunsmith repair?
mikebaker1129
Can you post a picture ?The upper will be a standard BM59 wood screw, the lower should be attched to the sling swivel via a small threaded bushing.
tomallen
Thanks for the reply. The top screw is a parkerized wood screw that apears to be original and the bottom is a home depot wood screw. I see the swivel and threaded bushing are available from a few sources but I can't locate the lower screw. Any suggestions?
