Bridgeport28A1
Any Federal Laboratories Inc. collectors know production order of the different type of finishes observed on these billys? I have observed chrome, worn brass and this flat gray finish. My thought is if the chrome finish wore off down to the brass there should be traces of chrome left in the hard to reach areas. Were the brass finish always just brass or was there some type of finish that wore down to the brass? Is the B 4917 a serial number? I see other photographs of billys that do not have a number present.
