Magazine question

Hello all...I'm new to the Thompson world and everything I Google about them leads to this forum.

I recently bought a WH M1A1 and the seller gave me some mags for it. Two of them are parkerized Seymour mags and it looks like the mag catch hole on them has been modified for semi-auto rifles. 

Will these mags work in my full-auto rifle?

When I test fired the rifle it ran beautifully...no hiccups at all but I only used an unmodified Seymour mag.

Welcome to the boards.  Unfortunately the modified oval catch holes won't hold the magazine high enough for a FA gun.

That's what I figured but I wanted to ask before I try and sell or trade them.
