Theopolis
I haven't been here in a while, due to the pursuit of other firearm related interests which has driven me to sell my 1927 A5 pistol. Here is the work done: 1) Re-anodize grip frame, rear sight base, and receiver. 2) Drill and tap rear sight rivet holes to accept screws (that do not work loose like rivets)and loctite screws in place. 3) Hot salt blue all steel with satin finish. 4) Install 1/2 inch steel front gripmount. 5) Install a set of Dan's custom 1921 style grips and finish with velvet oil. 4) Modify firearm to accept GI magazines. 5) Modify frame to be able to take gun apart without tools. 6) Remove bullet logo from Cutts compensator by lathe turning it off. 7) Cut 2 inches off the barrel and permanently install compensator to maintain legal over-all length. Now the barrel is actually approx 11.5 inches and 13.5 inches with permanently attatched compensator. (Although it is a pistol, ATF requires a minimum overall length be met when the pistol has a vertical pistol grip in the front.) 8) Blue magazines. Included with the gun are 10 magazines. Only 3 of these will work with this gun, but all are included. 3- magazines are of USGI round hole style and will fit this gun. 1- 20 rd., 2- 30 rd. 7- magazines were already modified with an oval hole to fit the newer style guns. 1- 20 rd. and 6- 30 rd. Pictures are available upon request to serious potential buyers. E-mail me at hatcherba@hotmail.com. All offers over $1000 considered. Thanks for looking.
