Homealone1
What is everyone here using for type 96 magazines ? Does anyone know if a .308 Bren gun magazine is small enough to fit the mag well of a 96 ?

Homealone1
Would anyone want polymer magazines ? I might try and make some 3D printed once I get the gun.
MG08
It would seem that if someone could make at least usable mags for the type 96 and type 99 they would sell- Last aftermarket metal one I saw ( and bought) was $250. The type 99 conversion for the MG13 mags is fairly simple with the adapters that were for sale a while back. I have two original mags, and a half dozen converted MG13. I am not sure if the 3D printed ones would hold up. Springs would be fairly easy to source, base plate and follower from stampings. I would think that there would be enough of a market to prompt a magazine maker to take a stab at it, since they have the machinery on hand. Homealone1
I just need to get the gun , I need to sell one of my stens before I can buy the 96 . Id love to have some usable mags and 3D printed seems to be the way to go these days. Id love to buy some metal mags but at the price of originals thats out of the question.
