Speeddemon02
Still at large, most people in the area still do not know that it existed and that it was stolen.
Gnat
I have been looking for information on this Thompson and finally today this TSMG thread showed up in my search. So naturally I have questions: What information does the serial #11320 give? The post-production stamp of "U.S. Navy" has thrown me. I see from other threads that it seems the 1921 was altered in to a "Navy" model and the final 1 was over stamped with an 8 making it 1928. Trying to figure all this out. Lincoln County has been my home for generations and I knew and voted for Sheriff Tom Sullivan. I visited the exhibit once and and was struck at how insecure it was. It was in a back room in a plexiglass box. the building was built in the 1870s. I talked to a friend who worked there and he too was alarmed at the lack of security. It was only a matter of time before it would be stolen. This is a sad story.Gnat Edited June 14, 2021 by Gnat
