John in IN
Thanks for all of the feedback guys. With machineguns, inconclusive testing requiring more investigation is ALWAYS the best result! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif Still pondering whether to sell the M16 to get a Thompson, or figure out how to have both. It may have to be one or the other though. The good thing about having either one is that I am able to stay on track value-wise as they continue to climb in price. I bought mine in 98 for $3400 and see that they are in the $10k range now. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif BTW, my specific gun is a COLT AR15 Model 614. So I could sell it, put a little with it and get a Savage or A.O. 1928 and be quite satisfied I think. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif John in IN
