jojeep
Magazines not seating right have always caused problems with the Semi-Auto because of the different dementions in Receiver Height compared to the Full Auto.We alway complain about the Magazine Catches and Magazine holes holding the Magazine in the Gun.But one place over looked is in the Receiver where the Bolt picks up the Rounds from the Magazine. See Photo area with Blue Marker to be ground down.At a close look you can see both sides are not even and both sides..as small as they are can keep the top of the Magazine from fitting flush. My Semi M1 made in the 1990's does not have this excess metal. This is an early Receiver from the 1970's when Auto Ordnance first started building Semi-Automatics. It came with some orginal surplus parts probably from WW2, but the Receiver were different than Full Auto Guns and lacked the quality in contruction as in the Full Autos.
