OCM
Next time hold one in each arm and do a dual mag dump- Wonder if that's been done other then the movies...? Great video of the difference in firing rates- Thanks for sharing. To much fun going on in NC. OCM
joseph12297
Sounds crazy.....What movies have 2 being shot at the same time..???I might try it with blanks
buzz
Using a stopwatch I got 3.8 seconds for the 28 and 3.1 seconds for the 21 from your video. That works out to around 780 and 970 rounds per minute, respectively. Edited September 23, 2014 by buzz

OCM
Don't know if it's ever been done in a movie was wondering if it had ? Looks like a typical thing in a Baby Face Nelson-type movie. If you do, do it, get a video. Blanks of course, don't want to shoot off a toe or two and join the Clyde Barrow club. Take a bit of muscle to hold the weapons up straight, cradle the butt stocks back to the body I guess. Like my BAR, getting harder to hold up and fire with the iron sights. Someone keeps slipping lead weights in it every year I guess. Hmmmm ? OCM

emmagee1917
I recall a WW2 jungle film clip . A GI stood up and sprayed into the jungle with a Thompson under each arm.Chris

emmagee1917
Kinda , but a real combat clip. Can't recall if M1s or '28s nor if stick or drum mags . Film was taken from the shooter's right , slightly rear side . There was one or two others poping up and firing M1 Garands or such.Chris
