rsilvers
Here is one missing the original flash hider. Is it worth more or less than $30K? http://www.photomosaic.com/albums/album10/Win_BAR.jpg http://www.photomosaic.com/albums/album10/Win_BAR2_001.jpg http://www.photomosaic.com/albums/album10/Win_BAR3_001.jpg http://www.photomosaic.com/albums/album10/Win_BAR5_001.jpg

rsilvers
Nice. That is the kind of deal I want. Any more nice Colts for $21,000?
John Jr
Was that the checkpoint charlies gun Leid? Jr
leid
Yes, it was the Colt BAR at Checkpoint Charlies. Charlie expects you to just send him a check sight unseen. He flew off the handle when I asked for pictures. If someone won't send me pictures, I immediately suspect something is not as stated. The guy did not return multiple emails over a 3 day period concerning a 21K sale. He is very immature and unprofessional judging by my dealings with him. Be advised, others on this board have had similar dealings with him in the past. carey
John Jr
To answer your question Silvers? Is it worth that to you? One recently sold for 19K I think just like this one, it could have been this one. Jr
leid
This BAR, Winchester s/n 113,378, was offered to me earlier this year. It is an uncorrupted original configuration Winchester 1918 but it is missing the original smooth flash hider. I believe it has been purchased. Whoever bought it got a very nice first contract Winchester 1918 BAR, barrel dated 1919. I hope someone here got it. Carey
