peter kohler
i have a 27a1 that i replaced a complete bolt in it. i also have a blank fire only 10.5 barrel in it some times when i rack the first round in it the bolt wil stick in the forward position. if i hit the charging handle lightly it will release. and if i fire it it blows back ok. im wondering if its the rounds or the chamber never had this problem beforethanks for any infopeter
deerslayer
The extractor may not have enough clearance in the extractor slot. I've seen that happen when building a Philadelphia ordnance receivers and the cutout isn't deep enough. Your headspace could be a little tight also. Outsider
On my reising the chamber was on the tight side. So when I had a round that was larger than the minimum case size it would stick in the chamber or the chamber would not close all the way. Normally didn't have problems with factory ammo as it all seemed to gauge on the small side, but some of my reloads were in the medium and others were up to the top side in the gauge and they would stick. I got a chamber hone and slightly honed the chamber and now it will run any ammo that fits in my case gauge.
