gunhistorian
This came from the U.S. Senate's Committee on Education and Labor, Subcommittee on Violations of Free Speech and the Rights of Labor, Part 15-C (Volume 8): two Model 1928AC TSMGs sold by Fed Labs to Tacoma, WAin July, 1934 ($225 each), serial numbers 10446 and 10331. In late July 1934, the City of Tacoma requested that they be allowed to return these guns (as well as other items they purchase from Fed Labs), probably for financial reasons. My web connection is too slow to do as much reading of the Hearings transcripts and looking at the exhibits, but there is probably a lot more info there. Found this on hathitrust.org. I still have to get down to Carlisle to do some research for Tom and to photocopy some stuff for David. Haven't forgotten you, fellows. Just sort of living in a beaver colony: Too dam busy!
