Is there any noticeable difference between the drum keys for the colt vs. the GI drums. If so what - any photos showing the difference if there is any. jim Posted November 9, 2004 Report Share Posted November 9, 2004 I am told the position of the rivets are different on the Colt/New York drums as compared to the WWII drum keys. If I recall correctly there is some subtle but noticeable differences in the dimple.
