jim c 351
shadycon, Nice looking carbine. I always liked the unique look of the paratrooper carbine. If the stock is original Inland, there are lot of people envious of you. Jim C

Reciever is 400xxx and stock is marked "IO" and RI3 on pistol grip.I wish it had proper barrel. But I only paid $800. Nice shooter!GK M1a1's-R-FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111

Its very unusual for a carbine barrel, if WW2, not to be stamped by manufacturer. Jim C
RoscoeTurner
I like them too. shadycon
I found no other markings or stamps on the stock. As for the barrel,It is the same configuration as the Inland barrel on one of my other carbines, but smooth. It does not have the usual machine marks. Also the Diameter at the site [date location] is .06 "less. 5.99- the inland 6.05-underwood 5.99.Front site is cast RIA.It's not collector grade but a nice shooter.
