BRMCII Posted January 16, 2022 Report Share Posted January 16, 2022 (edited) Very mysterious box. Modified with wooden spacer on inside and addition of the brass fittings. Looks to be a .30-06 interior width? Or .7.65 before addition of wood spacer?Metal brackets appear to be in pairs with capability of sliding a thin piece of material down into the box. Possibly the brass fittings were to apply some pressure to the item that was slid into the brackets in order to secure it.
