Question About Reising Magazine Wells

My Reising Model 60 will accept and fire from both 12 and 20 round magazines. However, the 12 rd mag rattles around in the mag well. The 20 rd mag fits the mag well snugly. I suspect the the mag well has been changed in the past to a 20 rd well. I wouldn't know how to tell the two mag wells apart being that I have only ever seen this one. Will a 20 round well accept both mags? Is this common to the 20 rd mag well that the 12 rd magazine works but does not fit as good?

The 12 rd mag well has ribs pressed into both sides to prevent the insertion of a 20 rd mag.

I must have a 20 rd magazine well then as it has no ribs. Thanks, and good idea - I'll buy the book.
