brazos609
Come on, in a year and a half nobody has any leads?
emmagee1917
Did you ask over on 1919a4.com ? Most of the parts kits / spare parts are the .303 version , but I don't know about links .Might also try DLO in Fl. If he doesn't have them he might have some leads .Chris
Big Al
I believe the American ANM2 used standard M1 links. As far as their compatability with the .303 British cartridge, I am not sure.
emmagee1917
Correct , the closed bolt firing , 30-06 , USGI gun uses standard M1 links and / or cloth belts . It is claimed that the USMC " stingers " that were made up for Iwo's invasion had bolted on mag boxes that held a 100 rd tank cloth belt , and worked fine. The .303 guns need the British " B1 " link .Chris
APEXgunparts
Come on, in a year and a half nobody has any leads? I have been seeking these same links since about the April 2010 Knob Creek. The US (30-06), Israeli (7.62X51), Yugo (8X57 & 30-06) steel links are too big.The closest are the Canadian (DAG marked 7.62X51) steel links.I never tried any cloth belts.I have slowly accumulated the .303 Browning links from folks who have answered my postings on various forums and help from friends.Spare parts & barrels have also turned up.I hope we both run across a large pile of these links, with the ammo would be even better!
