Who made the gun?
Please specify the type of hole in the receiver- diameter, counter bored, counter sunk, threaded, etc.

A fellow collector friend of mine is restoring an AOC M1 that had slight pitting around the L sight base. The sight was removed to lessen the pitting and now it looks fantastic however the sight needs to be re-attached. He was going to use a generic rivet but I thought I heard stories of incorrect shape, style, etc, from Richardson and others on the board. I remember seeing NOS rivets on Ebay in the past but have not seen them since the rule change.
Thanks again, Brent
Sorry: It is a WWII produced weapon not newer manufature. It is marked AOC behind the grip mount.

The only source for the correct rivet that I know of is Doug Richardson. It requires a 60 degree head- very uncommon. If he is out of the country and you need help fast, e mail me.
