
This is the most practical conversion. The spring in an X drum doesn't have the power to spin out 50 rounds, and making new rails is a time consuming and fairly precise process.
Here's how it works. You remove the rotor assembly, remove the guide rails for the 10 rounds, then put the ring in place and reasemble. Turns out to be about like the old XL drums. (The picture shows it on a XL drum body).
