There is a lot of info on the WH guns, drums and accessories in my new book United States Submachine Guns.

Also reproduced in the book are the actual 1994 letters I received from A-O West Hurley with the serial number ranges, dates and info on the 1928 and M1 Thompsons.

The book is 500 pages and only $29.95!
Available from this site under BOOKS

Frank's book is worth far more than the price. There's a section where the printer swapped pages but other than that "US Submachine Guns" is an incredible assembly of SMG knowledge and should be in the possession of any arms collector.

This was a totally unsolicted and uncompensated message.
