nhglyn
I have done some searching here but can't find what I am looking for. Can someone point me towards where I can find a nice wood display stand for Thompson with 50 rd drum? Thanks for any leads.

deerslayer
I've made some stands that will fit a thompson 1928 with drum, or same stand will also sit a m1a1 or even a 1927. Made a couple taller to take a C drum. Made some that fit on the wall and hold a drum, others flat to hold a stick mag. Cherry or Walnut. Unfortunatly, this was all I could find on the hard drive at the moment for pictures. Reenactor
Or, for fellow minimalists, how about this style? It folds and travels and stores easily, and when deployed, supports the front end of the receiver. It is not by any means a work of art like Dan or others can do, but it props the gun up for display, and doesn't take up much storage space. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y24/reenactor1/IMG_3463.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y24/reenactor1/IMG_3457.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y24/reenactor1/IMG_3461.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y24/reenactor1/IMG_3462.jpg Edited May 9, 2008 by Reenactor

fortyfivecal
i'm working on a series of stands, that incorporate engraving. does anyone have a dimension on the measurement from the bottom of a C drum, to the bottom of the receiver? in other words, the distance needed for clearance from the stand to the thompson? thanks.
