I have a BFONG and am not sure where to ask this question. I bought 20 rounders from Apex and got them. After cleaning the cosmoleane from the magazines I found out that one of the mags will not work. I can insert the mag and have to beat it out of the gun! I have other 20rounders and 30rounders that work fine.How do I get this 20rounder to work?

Does anybody have any tricks/tips to reinstall that doesn't involve a lot of cussing? This is for M1A1 BFONG. Thanks for the help.Jeff

Has anybody heard from PHIL-ORD on the BFONG ? How long is the wait? I have e-mailed them several times on this question and have not gotten an answer. I hope I am on the list.

Rough guess' I'm selling my Semi BAR with the case and accessories , to a dealer how much can I get? I have the 2-20rd mags and 2-30rd that came with it and a repo right hand bandoler with 6-20rd. Shot maybe 200rds. Can anybody give me a guess?

I think I have what you need. It still in a parts kit that I got 20 years ago. You just want the part that unscrews from the handle, right? Jeff

How do you get 8 magazines in the pouch ?????????????????? I can get 7 ,but can not get 8. I looked at your picture and followed the mag inserting and still can't get 8 . I can get four across the bottom and three across thr top but thats it. Can you help? I'm pretty sure the pouch's are the same size. Thanks Jeff

Thanks for the idea! I took it to my gunsmith and in 5min had the recoil spring installed.Reassempled rifle last night and all is well. I will pick up the air lines and see about th next time I clean it. Thanks for the help. Jeff

I disassembled my OOW1918A3 SLR for cleaning for the first time and I tried for over 3 hours to get the recoil spring and rod installed after cut fingers and cussing I still could not get it installed ! Any body have any hints to get this spring installed? I have seen OOW video and thats why my fingers are cut up. I can't hold the spring compressed long enough to install it. Is there a short cut I missed? Thanks, Jeff

I found a company that has 30 06 150grain FMJ made by a company called "Military Surplus" that has 500rds at a cheap price. I can't find anything about this military surplus company that makes this ammo. Has anybody heard of them? This site Ammo.com. Thanks for the help, Jeff

Can I use any 30 06 ammo, or do I need to stick to "Garand" ammo? Also is POF ammo any good? I expect to get the rifle sometime in Jan. Thanks

Would you send some of your neighbors over here to help? I finally got 8 mags in the pouch (nylon, Vietnam era) so I don`t think it shrunk. I`ll never get the cover to snap. Is there a certain order they go into the pouch, up or down or feedlips in first or back end in first.. Yes I know this a lot of questions. Thanks for helping an old man out. Jeff

I`ve got two of the nylon pouch`s and am wondering if any body can tell me how to get EIGHT mag`s in them! I can get six or seven but no matter how hard I try I can`t get EIGHT ! Can somebody draw me a diagram to help me out? Thanks Jeff

The bag (I believe) is a Vietnam carrying case for a M-60 barrel. It looks the same as the bags that I have.

No thats not it. I want the other end that sits at the back of the reciever tube that holds the guide rods together. I thought that I had the right name for ths part. I would like the big plate instead of the small (bar)plate. What exactly is this called? Thanks, Jeff I found out that its called "bolt and guide group"and I don`t need the bolt or the springs.
