  1. didnt know the military model had a 2 stage trigger...i know a similar model had only a FA trigger as ive got a parts kit and a forum member also has one...the enforcer? not sure why they would eliminate the best feature of the gun

the bayonet is just a spike..i know someone saw one for sale in 2018...he might have gotten it with his 2 guns at the auction or i heard about it elsewhere...it was never listed, but i heard someone say one came with a gun as a pkg.

The police model with a “selector” basically when in semi auto just blocks the trigger from being pulled back far enough for full auto. The sear is identical in both models. So when the selector on the police model is in full auto, it’s just like the military model and still has both functions.

  2. I won Knob Creek with my M3 in Oct. of 2003 when it was in the classic catagory. Categories have changed since then. Back then, to win knob creek, one needed to single tap his way to the top. We have listened to competitors and match personnel and have developed courses that require full auto bursts to knock down heavy steel poppers and bonuses given for sweeping an array. Also top shooters know to often start low and sweep up in bursts to knock down closely placed plates. In short, if you single tap a Knob creek course these days, you wont be anywhere near the top. Humping 8-10 45 acp mags. does tend to slow a guy down initially but when it comes to heavy steel poppers, we make up for it by dropping them easier than 9mm.
  3. Yep, I will be back using my M6 (either military or police) for the spring Knob creek match. I was using my grease gun as it was rare to see a grease gun being used there but now that is firmly covered by another individual who shoots extremely well ( and he is on here). If you reload and cast bullets for your M6, don’t use Lee’s 230 tumble lube RN. Only in the M6 will it sometimes fire out of battery. So I have to use a 2 cavity Lyman 452374. As far as the main spring goes, they will take a set after a bit and shorten, don’t know how much though. Anyway good insurance to just use a new one.
  4. When I first got my grease gun, I was impressed how it kept going and going. I was shooting cast lead bullet reloads. Lots of smoke and residue. I decided to see how long I could shoot it without cleaning it. I didn't keep track of how many rounds but finally the bolt guide rods were so dirty and fouled up the bolt was coming forward too slow to fire the primer. That was probably 3 range sessions with myself allowing others to shoot the gun as well.
