I finally received my Form 1 after 8 months, I'm ordering the barrel in the next few days. Who are the recommended Smiths who can engrave and install the 10" M1A1 barrel?

My Form 1 is off at ATF to convert my 16" to 10" barrel. Are there any recommended people I can contact who will change the barrel? Any info appreciated. John

Thanks for all the advise, definitely don't want to wear gloves just to shoot this rifle. I will contact Kahr to see what they say but will probably end up trying the wet stone and using the black gel to touch up. I will order the ez spring kit and knob whenever Tommygunner answers their phone or return emails..so far no luck. v/r John

Purchased my first ever semi Thompson M1 with steel receiver. What is the best method to remove the razor sharp edged all over the receiver. Just pulling back the bolt I cut the index finger. Any suggestions appreciated. LW32

I emailed Dan and Dave Janowski both no longer sell them. Dave stated he sold or deferred all his spring sales to TommyGunner. I guess I may have to break down and pay the $80 to TG..sounds a bit high when Dan use to sell them for $30 and Dave for $50. I will keep looking however and post my finds for all on this forum. Looking to purchase an EZ Pull Spring kit for my Semi M1. Other than Tommygunner anyone else selling them. I emailed Dave who use to sell them for $30, TG now lists them for $80, recall seeing a source for $50 but can't seem to find the link. Any help appreciated. John

Does anyone have the steps or options for converting my semi Kahr TM1 to accept original GI 20rd mags. My goal to to do the form 1 for the SBR and also add the 10.5" barrel and fore grip, but this is the first and easiest modification to make this TM1 look like a WW2 era GI M1A1. More questions to follow on barrel removal, stock replacement, etc as I'd like to eventually have a worn look GI M1A1 Any help or advice appreciated. John
