  9. Original mags will have to be modded by enlongating the mag catch hole on the mag to work in Khar guns, or you can mod the mag catch itself to accept unaltered mags. I've never dealt with What A Country but I would think the pre ban mags are used and the GI mags might still be in cosmoline. I have a mix of mags that are used and ones I got that were in cosmoline, not much difference in my eyes just cosmetic. Good luck!
  10. Glad you found one. I bought a 1927 about 3 years ago and I'm in the process of doing changes on mine as well. SBR, mag catch mod, WWII furniture. Some good books on the Thompson American Thunder volume I, II, III The Ultimate Thompson Book by Tracie Hill
  11. I'm not sure but I think an original screw is the way to go. I vaguely remember reading that somewhere. Good luck.
  12. Morning, So I was cleaning my 1927 and my wife asked "don't you have a one of those round mobster clips?" Amazed that she even cared if I had a drum, I said "no it didn't come with one." She said, "well I think it would cool if you had one, why don't you get one?" So I started searching and saw Numrich had 50 round drums for 199.00. Is there anywhere else that offers a good reproduction drum? Thanks in advance!
  13. Wanted to get some extra parts but was curious about ejectors. Noticed there are 2 different from my research, a long and a short one. Which one would fit a 1927 A1? Or are they all the same? Will military surplus ejectors fit?
