Another 80's deko... been a few decades forgotten.. interesting sights, fixed rear and AA ring.. took most of the day to take apart and start cleaning the grease and surface rust.. came with a 97round mag.. more pics as restoration unfolds....

Thought to put a follow up on the topic since its been 6 years now... time flies... restored and properly deactivated.. i have been able to find some more bits and accessories for it.

Flammenwerfer 41 It has been quite some time since i last posted something and just thought to share something with you guys. Something not very often seen around... we used it on a reenacting last month involving the Greek fort-line. Enjoy..

Well after almost a year the Lewis is almost ready... Many hours of work on it, and the photos dont bring out all the details.. stripped down, degrease, glass blasted, re-blued, and the stocks refinished.... it is a diamond if you ask me! http://imageshack.us/scaled/thumb/267/photo3vzk.jpg http://imageshack.us/scaled/thumb/585/photo2isl.jpg one problem though.. the spring has corroded and is extremely fragile.. so i am looking information about it.. are there any spares? can i make a new one? and if yes how many meters long it is ??

Inglis! Flat harmonic muzzle brake and from whats left from the bipod must be using the single stem. Boxes havent seen any around... impossible nowdays...

Jim is right, i am on the other side of the "lake" That's why i believe that here they never did any rebarrel .. Got the stuff from the Brits and stored them..

if i had to guess, regarding the place it was found and the army it came from, i would say no. Technically my knowledge is limited on the matter.

I checked the insciption today.. it is stamped. R.B. MK I, MK II 42

Thank you Sir, good to be here! Also i want to say that although it was an MkI it has the MKII barrel and had the MKII butt. Took me a while to find all the MKI butt parts but it definetelly worth the trouble.

Can i ask where should i place a question about Boys AT ? I have one that is an MKI but it has the flat flash hider and the later non adjustable front sight and from the looks of the remaing upper leg it had installed the Monopod not the Bipod. Also it is made by Inglis. I am also looking for a complete Bipod or Monopod for it. again will post pics soon.

Thought to share my Bren Gun set up. Found the Tripod 6 years ago, Got the spare leg from UK, and finally a good friend of mine machined the attachment to the front leg. Also Handle springs on the tripod are repros and the rear handle* from IMA also the empty casing bag was from IMA *I must point out that it was a bit narrow and i had to machine the hole bigger so to fit to the buttstock. http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/1717/dsc7234.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Good day all!! I wanted to share my Lewis which i recently aquired. First i would like to say that the AA sight it has it is a big Crosshair, and it is British stamped. I am also looking for a Butt stock or the metal parts for it.. mine is rotten and missing one Buttplate screw and the sling swivel. i will post photos soon. Thank you!
