that bolt face pic makes my head hurt.
-
actually if I remember. Theres a member here who had a similar problem and it was the extractor not allowing the round to sit flush on the bolt face that was the problem.
-
A: crappy mag/mag catch that interferes with feeding/proper firing
B: soft bolt
C: bad headspace

unless you have the knowledge and some form of proper tools it can be hazardous to your guns health.
I did my own SBR work, swapped out the stupid smooth barrel for a gi with the cutts on it that I got for $40. when the threads broke on the first barrel it sounded like a gunshot in my garage using my 4 foot cheater bar on my jig I made.
-
stuff like this can be found very very low in the right spots because they're not "attractive" anymore.
I got my Stevens 620 for $120 last year.
took a lot of cleaning to get it running good. Took the barrel down to 18.25 cause the last few inches looked like a beaver tried eating it.

Im still looking...
Yes I'm alive. The universe needed me elsewhere for a little.

that warning of making colored copies of tax/treasury documents is on a big sticker on a lot of the newer copier/fax machines.
-
nice, i've yet to find a nice one.

The point is, the attachment can’t be reversible by the average Joe
"readily convertible" IE: you cant just take it off with a screw driver or hammer in 5 minutes.
most non intrusive is blind pin and silver soldering over the holes.

lock in a sock
Not very professional
That's jail for you though.
yes, but since the killer was suppose to be a pro, I would of thought he "d be more creative
that stuffs for the movies.

with some elbow grease cheap wood can be made to look very nice.

i think they use their crappiest grain of wood for the commando parts.
always reminded me of what century did to the wood on all those Czech VZ-52 rifles , bastards.
-
some things I've picked up in the last 2 years have never been fired other than factory and well taken care of after that. A few rifles still had cosmo in the chambers and bolt internals
-
having the BHO pawl spring break is a treat too.
but it can be taken apart when things are bouncing around inside.

numrich had a source of bare receivers a few years back for the price of $799 each .
they didn't say who or where they came from , at the time you could get a complete pistol or rifle version for $750-850 .
-
if you paid under $1k you did good.
I sold mine for $1200 about 2 years ago and the buyer didnt even ask any questions once he checked a few numbers .
-
i've never seen that diopter style sight/top cover before.
-
sadly, most people i know didn't have a clue what a BAR was until they watched that train wreck Saving private ryan.
Modern day weapon to have back then would be an integrally suppressed 10/22 with mags and about 3000 rounds.
-
watching To Hell and Back as a kid made me buy one.
-
yea, dont dry fire these unless disassembling or you have a snap cap in place.
-
I'd take an M1 carbine.
OR have an armorer turn a BAR into select fire VS 2 modes of fire only.
-
never heard about it , shame.
bought all my 1928a1 furniture from him a few years back then he kinda slipped off the radar.
