  3. I bought two from him a few years ago. Worth an email to see if he has one. This was posted in 2017: "I have a small quantity of Reising barrels for sale, new old stock, still in the grease. I will be at the Show of Shows in Louisville next week, but can ship out barrels for those who can not attend the show. e-mail me folkem@online.no. 275,- each, shipped. No compensators available, but have both 14- and 28- fin barrels at the moment."
  4. Long overdue follow up. it was the firing pin causing the problem as Deerslayer thought it might be. Filed a new pin just a bit to get it to work properly Old pin was cut too much. Thanks Dan!Runs like a Swiss clock now.
  5. Mine came today, look very nice! Will try them out soon!

  7. It freed up after the removed the front magwell pin. Got her going now. Thanks Emmagee.
  8. It's a late one, SN S5xxx, manufactured in 1957 I think. It has a two piece bumper plug. Spring and guide looked good.
  9. Hi Guys, need some help and advice. First shot of the day, bolt jammed all the way back and will not move. I can not see anything causing the jam e.g. dislodged primer or broken extractor. The face of the bolt is about 1/4" aft of the end of the magwell opening; it that normal? Action bar is tight as a drum with no movement at all. I tapped the action bar lightly with the handle of a hammer to try and get it to move with no luck. Any ideas? Thanks, Bill
  10. Gun is clean, ammo is white box Winchester. I am a Reising novice but the trigger pull seems very stiff. Could it be the trigger spring is too strong?
  11. My Reising M50 will fire single shots at times on the S.A. setting as it should but will also double or triple on the S.A. setting. Any suggestions on what can be causing this? Thanks, Bill
  12. Update, finally gave it a good cleaning and lube with high temp synthetic grease. It made a drastic difference. I had only one double after about 100 rounds. That was the only one in about 130 rounds of firing since the cleaning. I will give it a thorough cleaning after each use. Thanks for all the advice guys. Bill
  13. Thanks guys. I'll give it a good cleaning and lube and see if it makes a difference.
  14. Don't know, what would the possible issue be if it does it with a cocked hammer or one that is not? What is an easy way to check to see if it is not fully cocked before a double? Thanks, Bill
  15. I bought a new Kahr Thompson TM1 about a year and a half ago and had it converted to an SBR. I had a double every 25 rounds or so with Blazer Brass and Federal ammo but it ran fine with Winchester white box for about 250 rounds but is now doubling or tripling with the Wincester ammo at least once per magazine. Seems to be getting worse. Any thoughts on what could be causing this?
