Hi All, I'm a newbie here. I'm in the process of getting a 1928 A1 Savage, Bridgeport gun. I'm just patiently awaiting the ATF paperwork to get through. I am also trying to ascertain when my gun was produced. It is marked, U.S. MODEL OF 1928 A1. It's a matching number gun in the S-530xxx range. It has the magazine release with the 'hole' in it. Can anyone help me out ? Thanks, Rich...............
