I recently got a Auto Ordnance 1927A1. I'm wondering about a break in period? basically anything a newbie to the Thompson should know.. Also anyone from California too? I'm looking for a few 10 rd mags if anyone can steer me towards a place I can pick up a few. Thanks...Gary

Im fairly new to firearms and I'm brand new to Thompson's so sorry for stupid questions.. I ordered some springs from McMaster Carr and so far so good..I also got the buffer material..but I'm not exactly sure where it goes..in between the receiver and the recoil guide or the recoil guide and the bolt? Seems like behind the recoil guide would be pushing the firing pin pilot forward more then the orig. springs.. Thanks of any info you can give...Gary
