Hi, I'm new to the forum, but have dabbled in militaria, vintage firearms and military vehicles for years. I acquired a Kahr Arms semi auto Thompson about a year and a half ago. The Form 1 came in recently, so I rebarelled it and headed to the range. I'd already cut down the mag catch to use WWII mags, which, when I could find them, were way cheaper than new ones from Kahr. Plus, I hoped to use it in WWII reenacting, so one mag wasn't going to do it. That said, my job modifying the mag catch is less than perfect. Some of the mags, especially when loaded, will drop out with any type of vibration (like firing it)! Is there anyone out there with drawings or dimensions that can cut me one that will work a bit better? I've already got a spare purchased, if someone has a recommendation on who can make me a more reliable mag catch. Thanks!
