  1. Do your numbers include the Wilson built guns? They have an L prefix in the serial numbers. How about the Pearl built guns? They look exceptional to me, with a bent trigger frame, No weld beads! BP
  2. Hi guys, thanks for the replies! Very nice case there Frank, who made it? Does the front grip make it an AOW? It is a very cool gun, just not very accurate without a stock. BP
  3. Hello: I inherited a nice W. Hurley 1927A5 pistol #763XP. with 10 - 30 rd mags and a 50? rd drum. Mags have had catch hole enlarged to fit the gun. Shoots great with mags, haven't tried the drum. What do you guys think this package would be worth? Thanks for the Board! BP
  4. Thanks man, that seems like a fair price, even with the buyers premium.
  5. Very interesting example , blued finish, with pistol grip and swedish forearm. Wondered what hammer price was? Thanks, BP
  6. Thanks for the reply, yes thats about what I thought. I'm thinking $1,500 each with the winder and mounting bracket.
  7. Guess you are talking about the M60? Try Arron at beltfeds. or maybe Apex.
  8. Hello supertwin! Thanks for the info. What caliber is the LMG 25? Am not familiar with those, will do some research. How are things in Switzerland? Do you get to shoot your guns there? Thanks again BP
  9. I tried 7.5 and 6.5 swiss in the mag. Both fit, but the 6.5 seems a better fit. Also, the catch on the rear of the mag is unusual, shaped like an wide hourglass. There are no markings on the outside. I will look inside tonight. Will post another pic later. BP
  10. Have a couple of very nice Bren Drums. What are they going for now? Will post pics later this week. BP
  11. Thanks for the replies. 7.62 ammo is very tight, and the rim gets in the way. 8mm and .06 is too long, .308 fits but is a bit short. will try other rounds and see which seems to match up. Will try the other piece on my MG34 tripod and see if it makes sense.
  12. Greeting from Florida! Can any of you gents enlighten me about this Mag and unknown to me accessory? Thank for the Board! BP
  13. I didn't bid because I knew it would run it up too high. Anyone know what it went for?
  14. Could you please explain the advantages of the 14.5mm subcal rounds. Longer range? more accurate? Readily available? Thanks, BP
  15. I have a basket case compressor described above, made 10/58 by Walter Kidde Co. All the parts are there, in fair shape, Maybe useful for spare parts if you have one. Anyone here familiar with these? Thanks, BP
  16. Yes, the 7.63 ammo runs great in my PPSH 41. A bit slower ROF, and brass doesn't go as far. was able to get double taps at will. A shame the ammo is more expensive.
  17. Thanks for the replies, I appreciate the info. Why is the conversion difficult? Thanks, BP
  18. That sounds great. Maybe someone who has a case could take the measurements? Thank you, BP
  19. I was given some 7.63 ammo with a CZ pistol which is 7.62. Have not shot it, but since you've piqued my interest, I will try it in my PPSH and report back!
  20. Wondering how many transferrables are in the registry, and if there are any semiautos around. Has anyone seen one or shot one? Thanks,
  21. I wonder if the gentleman in England that makes the MP40 cases could make a few? Sounds like there may be interest here. Don't want to start a bidding war on this case at morphys. And the maker would be sure of getting paid!
  22. Thanks for sharing. What do these usually sell for?
  23. Begging your pardon C21A but Don't think Joe was a hotel owner in FL. Do know he was into shipping and barges. Do know hes been into MGs since the early 1980's Shot with him a couple times. He's been very sick and trying to clean up his affairs. He wrote several articles for MGN and SAR. Even more important, HE INVENTED THE GRIP POD! probably made a few bucks off that! Also worked on an ammo hanger for the M240B. Wishing him All the Best in these tough times. BP
