  1. I keep a few of mine loaded - doesn't seem to hurt them. From what I understand, springs typically "set" when they're compressed and decompressed a lot.
  2. I worked at UPS for a few years back in '04. I can assure you, they're not illiterate. I myself never intentionally damaged boxes, but some of those guys would get pissed about everything and anything - they'd find a box that said "fragile" and chuck it, or smash it. 90% of humans are pretty much garbage...
  3. I rarely ever take "internet advice" anyway. As far as I'm concerned, anything pulled from the fountain of misinformation is hearsay at best. Especially when the person "seyn" it can't even type / write in proper English. That throws a lot of credibility right out the window. All that said - I haven't shot my new Kahr yet, I hope it works well... Which Thompson should a new buyer be looking at? I've heard the WH guns are turds and require a bunch of work and polishing to get running right. So if Kahr are also turds, what should they be looking at? Not everybody has $20k to buy an heirloom.
  4. This is disconcerting. It pretty much tells me I'm on my own if something ever breaks on my T1B-14. From the posts I've read on here, it would seem a gentleman by the name of "deerslayer" would be the one to go to...
  5. I had no desire to buy a book, but was curious about this. I asked the googles and it says: "M for Strombeck-Becker of Moline IL " Whether this is true or not is beyond me, but it's interesting... Guess the gub'ment really did farm out everything to have parts built for their weapons.
