  1. Greeting, I'm new here and recently bought a T1 (1927A-1) and have the same issue many of you also have had. I'ts very difficult to cock this gun due to the springs and round cocking bolt on top and I can't shoot a 20 round clip without it jamming. I'm using the specified amo and shot about 150 rounds through it so far. I've got feed issues where the round gets stuck half way out of the clip. The bolt doesn't always eject the shell, The bolt doesn't always push the round the entire way into the chamber. The bolt does not stay in the open position after the last round has been fired. I striped it down and oil it but I fear this may not work. I was shooting American Eagle and magnatec 45 ACP 280 gr Bras round nose ammo. Shoots great when it fires but to buy a new gun that doesn't function as intended is a big disappointment. Also after a couple week of sitting in my safe I notice a rust haze on the barrel so I oiled that all down. Did I but a lemon and return it for another one?? Also I'm looking for more details on changing the springs and adding buffer plate to make using the gun easier to use. I've read many post but my questions is what would the part numbers be for the springs people are ordering form Master Carr? Where would I get a buffer plate (Part Number?)? I've got the top cocking ball which is a B----- to use, does someone make a longer that still open in the middle to see the front sight? I've searched the web for spring kits but didn't find anything. One other thing, Is there a way to insert the clips without having to the release lever. The catch has a taper to it so it looks like it would slide right it but it don't. Can't imagine it took two hands to put a clip in real life combat. Looking for advice since I'm new to the gun and would really like to have one that functions dependably and easier. I appreciate your help. It's fun to shoot and pretty accurate when it works.
