  1. I think he is looking for the break that looks like a standard BM62 break only it has holes drilled in it like a muzzle break .
  2. No , the gas cylinder that I have looks just like the ones on ebay . I do have 2 BM62's but I picked this BM59 cylinder up at a gunshow . I also picked up everything sans the spindle valve from MRJ . Thanks for the pics ! I think that I will be able to put it all together when I get around to ordering the spindle valve. Mike
  3. I do not have a gas valve installed .My gas system is stripped will these parts work in place of the gas valve ? Thanks in advance ! Mike

  7. Mike ,I have the same problem with my BM62 when I use a Nigerian stock with the cutout . Some of the "New" Reese stocks are cut a little different and the wood fills this gap. I guess you could glue a small piece of wood in there to support the area? Just a thought....... Mike

  14. You might want to call Colleen at Reese surplus . www.reesesurplus.com for the PH #. Best of luck to you and welcome to the forum !
  15. Mine appears to be a cut-down as well. From what I have seen, I would have to say that they are not very common. The 20 rd mags are around ,I would say that other than SARCO and Reese that they are not so common either . I have seen 1 10 rd mag and I have in my collection . I am sure someone with a little more expertise will chime in and offer some more input. HTH Mike

  17. MRJ, Where is the best place to pick up the manuel ? I will attempt to pick up the remaining parts if they are available . Thanks for the help! BM59 collectors/fans are truely a small group . Mike
  18. I just came home with a couple BM59 parts that I picked up at a gunshow in Houston . What first caught my eye was a BM59 gas-cylinder (stripped). There is no grenade launcher site or whatever else there is on there . Anyone know what else is missing ? I ask to see the G/C and the guy reaches behind the table and also pulls out a BM59 op rod . He tells me he will make me a good deal on both and I came home with them . I have never seen a BM 59 gas system forsale before . Any ideas where I can find the other parts for the stripped gas cylinder ? Reese maybee ? I already have one of the SARCO kits and it leaves alot to be desired ! As I pick up a BM59 part, I pull the garand stuff from the SARCO kit. Sorry for the questions, but I have BM62's and the gas systems are slightly different . Mike
  19. It must be a have been a difficult decision . We all here know how special that the Nigerian was to you .We were all here celebrating with you when you purchased it . If I remember correctly it was the last heel stamped Beretta rifle that Reese had left ? Sorry to hear the news . Be strong Brother .

  21. I found out about the AR70 bottom not fitting over on Sturmgewehr .I have had no luck what so ever ! I listed ads on every site that I could think of to no avail. I just called Colleen at Reese about something else and it did not occur to me to ask http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif . Thanks for checking Mike ! Mike
  22. I never thought of the AR70 piece interchanging . My grip is brown as are the grips on my others . You know I talked to Colleen yesterday and it never occurred to me to ask http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif about the grip . I will ask the same question on the AR70 section . Thanks for the link .
